Sal Bibona, President
Sal Bibona founded Chatham Consulting in 1994 to provide
comprehensive fleet management consulting services. With over 25
years of experience, Mr. Bibona has assisted numerous fleet
organizations throughout North America and overseas to improve
fleet performance. Mr. Bibona is also a frequent speaker at many
fleet organizations, and an author of numerous articles on fleet
management.
His fleet assignments have taken him to such diverse locations as:
the deserts of Saudi Arabia, the Rikers Island Prison complex in
New York City and to over 30 states and provinces. Mr. Bibona has
also provided consulting advise to some of the largest public
service fleets in North America, including: American Electric
Power, Florida Power and Light Co., State of Georgia, Southern
California Edison Company, and BC Hydro.
Prior to founding Chatham Consulting, Mr. Bibona was Assistant Vice
President at Stone & Webster Management Consultants, Inc. a
leading international consulting firm based in New York City. He
directed its Fleet Management Consulting Practice. Prior to joining
Stone & Webster, he was a project manager at Coverdale &
Colpitts, Inc. where he conducted financial feasibility and other
transportation studies. He joined Coverdale & Colpitts after
working as an assistant engineer in transportation planning at the
New Jersey Department of Transportation.
He holds a Master of Science (Transportation Systems) from
Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil
Engineering from Newark College of Engineering. He is a licensed
professional engineer.
